This really gets me and discourages me. The 1988 documentary clip presents a YMCA social group where kids express their feelings about my wounds in school–why it happens and how upsetting it can be. I added my commentary and then submitted it to YouTube for review. I was very struck by the conversation and the reluctance of some children to just “talk out.” The YouTube automatic and manual systems rejected this clip for advertising. For what reason? I suspect that the person who manually view this and made the decision is not an English speaker. I know that there is nothing in this clip or in what I say that does anything but encourage young people to speak out and to gather together and discuss the violence they don't like.
