Wednesday’s Leg Workout “Powerlifting + Bodybuilding Leg Workout For Building Muscle & Strength (DAY 3 - WEEK 3)
1) Squats 5 Sets x 4 reps using 85% of 1RM (385lbs) (How I figured my weight. My max is 455lbs, so I will take 455 x .85 = 385) Rest 2-3 minutes between each set
2) Barbell Front Squats 3 Sets x 8 reps using 70% of my 1RM (285) (How I figured my weight. My max is 405lbs, so I will take 405 x .70 = 283.5 and I found it up to 285lbs) Rest 2-3 minutes between each set
3) Leg Press 3 Sets x 10 reps (Go as heavy as you can with these and go as deep as your joints will allow you. Rest 1-2 minutes
4) Leg Curls 3 Sets x 8-10 reps &3rd Set is a Drop Set x Failure!!! Hold each rep at the top for 2-3 seconds while squeezing your hamstrings & 3rd Set is a Drop Set x Failure. (Go as heavy as you can on these and keep the negatives slow and controlled. Rest 1-2 minutes
5) Leg Extensions 1 Set x TORTURE SET 10x10x10 (Do 10 reps with the heaviest weight you possibly can, after your 10 reps drop the weight by 20-30 pounds and do another 10 reps. After those 10 reps drop the weight 30-40 pounds and do another 10 reps but these reps hold each rep at the top for 2-3 seconds while squeezing your quads as hard as you can.
6) Donkey Calf Raise 100 Total Reps!!!
